But ultimately the poem ends with Frost feeling regret with the choice that he had made, this is described towards the end of the poem by saying I shall be telling this with a sigh. The reader at this point is already sensing regret. Then the mood moves into fear of regret when Frost talks about how he will most likely not come back to this path again. The reader gets the feeling of loneliness in making a decision with no help or information from friends or family.
